Research Projects

LOCOMOTION is a project funded by EU's Horizon 2020 programme. It aims to design a new set of IAMs (Integrated Assessment Models) to provide policymakers and relevant stakeholders with a reliable and practical modelling system to assess the feasibility, effectiveness, costs and ramifications of different sustainability policy options.

The Ecohesion project explores the relationship between climate and energy policies, structural change in the economy, and redistributive mechanisms. Taking a multidisciplinary systemic approach, Ecohesion aims to facilitate policymaking and support learning through advanced training courses and participatory processes.

In New Electricity Trends (NET) I worked on the development of a system dynamics model for the assessment of medium to long-term goals of the Italian electricity market. We are still working on some research outputs using the model.
