What can be done within the COMMUNITY?

More Housing Programs:

• By having a more affordable and quality living for students they are able to focus better within school and less likely move several times in their educational career. More stable housing would also mean students would not have to switch schools as often as they are right now.

Adult Education Programs:

• Often times in low socio economic areas parents want to help their kids, but just don’t know how, whether it’s because the method has changed or they dropped out of schools themselves. Classes will help bridge that gap so they can better help their child at home.
• In many low socio economic areas there is a high concentration of ELL's (English Language Learners). Often parents are not able to communicate with teachers about their child's education which limits their ability to help their child at home.
