For the first five years of the ACFFL's existence (under alternate league names "GO-MULES League", "GO SPURS League", and "SFFL"), the league didn't even have a logo. There was no significant branding of any kind for the league until 2017, when league member Nate Smith undertook the project. Smith had been designing text logos for his own teams and wanted to branch out to the entire league.
For the 2017 season, Smith designed the SFFL's first logo, shown to the right. The dominant colors of purple and green were chosen: purple to pay homage to the SFFL's competitive medium, Yahoo! Fantasy, and green (Commissioner Smith later stated that "it looks nice"). Each star in the logo represented one of the twelve teams in the SFFL at the time.
After the first "branded" year of the SFFL, Smith designed the SFFL's second logo after being dissatisfied with the 3D design. The 2D design utilized a lighter purple and two greens, and the twelve stars dropped to ten to recnogize the departure of Nathan Harvey and Will Washington.
Prior to the 2019 season, Smith became frustrated with the colors and typefaces selected in the previous year's logo, so he set out to redesign it. A more subtle redesign, Smith opted for a lighter green and darker purple, as well as uniformity in the text. The ten stars were kept.
In what had become a trend in the SFFL logos, Smith was unhappy with the current design. To match the theme of the playoffs, Smith created a more minimalistic logo, keeping the same font and circular design, while slightly adjusting the green and purple colors.
With the SFFL being rebranded to the ACFFL, a new logo came with it. The shield shape pays homage to both the Alamo and Military City USA, pairing with the official Military City USA colors of blue and red. The San Antonio Riverwalk's iconic bridges and barges are displayed in the middle as a ribbon and football, and the red star at the top of the logo pays tribute to Texas, the Lone Star State.
The ACFFL celebrated its 10th season in 2021, so the ACFFL graphics team created a special 10th anniversary logo to commemorate the season. This logo can also be found on the ACFFL's first and only line of merchandise.
