Stringing

There is no warranty included on our restring services. Returns are not accepted. 

High tensions apply a risk to frame stability. If a request is made to string your racket above the recommended tension levels then we will not be liable for any damage caused to the racket during the stringing process.

We do not string rackets that are imitations or copies produced by third party suppliers.

If a racket says 'max tension 30ibs' this does not mean this racket can be strung at 30 ibs without risk, it should mean 'string 30ibs at your own risk and only when brand new' because stringing any frame over 25ibs comes with an increased risk of breakage, espeically if the frame has been strung and used previously.

Please note, although frames are inspected for damage when they are handed in/before restring begins we cannot guarantee the condition of the frame prior, during or after stringing. 

Some frames may have internal damage (fractures) which will not be visible during inspection, so should the racket break during the stringing process or after during play upon return we will not be liable for the breakage.

From time too time even respected quality companies like Yonex have material defects in a small percentage of there frames, and others are more infamous for flaws (Dunlop, Carlton, Karakal to name a few).

As a result of all of these risks, when you hand a racket to us for re-string you indicate you understand that there is a risk of breakage. We ask to understand that "it was perfectly fine when i brought it in" is not a relevant argument. We are professional enough to stand by our work and fix anything that is our fault. We are not, however, responsible for any of the common issues above.

If more than 5 grommets require replacing additional charges may apply, customers will be notified of this prior to grommets being replaced (per 5 grommets replaced +£1). 

Upon placing restring request, you can select to drop your racket off yourself to our secure drop box. If you select this, we will be in contact with you upon order receipt with drop box location (within North Cambridge), and one-time combination lock code.

If you wish to collect your racket via this method, we will inform you once restring complete where you can confirm this, and another code will be provided for collection.

Drop off:

1. Feel free to remove and use empty case within drop box to help racket protection and scratch resistance upon drop box placement. Usual racket inspections apply within these T&Cs before conducting restring order request.

2. Once racket placed, please close panel door, replace combo lock, changing code to something random.

3. Payment will need to be made prior to collection via bank transfer or Paypal Me link if collecting from drop box later. We will inform you once racket is ready via contact details you provided in order form.

Collection:

1. Remove racket from drop box case if not your own, close panel door, replace combo lock, changing code to something random.

N.B. Lock codes are changed after each customer transaction. No other parties will be privy to these. We will not be held responsible for any lose or damage to your racket, you use this service at your own risk. 

We reserve the right to reject any racket at any time. 

If you bring your own string, we will not be held responsible if the string or racket breaks.

Although we try our best to have a weeks turn around on rackets, it may be slower and as such cannot be guaranteed to be completed in this time frame. We can accommodate quicker turnaround times however additional charges will apply.
