Nkongho Ayuketang Arreyndip, Ph.D. is the team leader of the ACERG. He has a PhD in Physics with several years of experience in carrying out cutting-edge research in the area of Climate Dynamics and Impacts. His research interests include Atmospheric Physics and chemistry, analysis of extreme climate events, climate change adaptation and mitigation strategies, climate change impacts on agriculture, sustainable agriculture, sustainable development, renewable energy, rural and urban electrification, and environmental science.
Being awarded a double Postdoctoral research fellowship by the German Alexander von Humboldt Foundation and a Marie Skłodowska-Curie COFUND Individual Fellowship 2023, he has experience in designing and managing cutting-edge research projects and securing funding at all academic levels (Masters, Ph.D., and postdoctoral). Experience in mathematical modeling, statistics, and numerical simulation of physical systems using Python, R, and Fortran. He works with Linux operating systems and high-performance computing environments(HPCs). He also works extensively with large datasets in a variety of formats, including netCDF4 files.
