This Privacy Policy explains how Francis Francisco ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the AQPA (AceQuest Pocket Association) mobile application (the "App"). By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
AQPA is a social golf app for live-verified hole-in-one attempts. Players set up an "Ace Quest," broadcast their attempt live with a fellow member filming and witnessing as the "attester," and share the result with the AQPA community. AQPA is invite-only and intended for players 18 and older.
We collect the information needed to run accounts, live broadcasts, and the AQPA community feed. Specifically:
Sign-in identifier: The App uses Sign in with Apple. Depending on the permissions you grant Apple, we may receive your name and email address (or, if you choose Apple's "Hide My Email" option, a private relay address instead).
Waitlist and profile information: Your first and last name, email, phone number if provided, home state, username, date of birth, home course, handicap, dexterity, and pro/amateur status, if you choose to provide them.
Content you create: Videos you record and broadcast through the App, captions, and related metadata such as course name and hole number.
Camera, microphone, and photo library access: AQPA requests camera and microphone access to record and broadcast your Ace Quest attempts, and photo library "add only" access if you choose to save a video to your device.
Usage and device information: Standard technical data such as app version and general usage of app features.
We do not use third-party advertising services, and we do not sell your information.
To create, verify, and maintain your account, including the waitlist approval process.
To enable live broadcasting, video posting, and playback.
To show you content and live broadcasts from players you follow.
To operate the community feed, following, and moderation (reporting and blocking).
To communicate with you about your account.
To evaluate eligibility under the Official AQPA Tour, when a Jackpot season is active.
Your account, profile, and content data are stored using Supabase, a third-party hosting and database provider that stores this data on our behalf. Live video is broadcast and hosted through a third-party video streaming provider. Golf course search uses a third-party golf course data provider. Sign-in is provided by Apple. These providers process data on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.
We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Francis Francisco or others.
You can update your profile information within the App at any time. You can block other users, report content, and unfollow players. You can permanently delete your account and associated content from within the App's Settings.
We keep your account and content data for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period after deletion as needed to comply with legal obligations or resolve disputes. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time from within the App, or by emailing us at the address below.
AQPA is not directed to, and may not be used by, anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information we collect. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of AQPA after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
