TC36 is organizing a special session entitled “Sustainable Management and Preservation of Bridge Infrastructure” at the International Association for Bridge and Structural Engineering (IABSE) Congress 2026, held in Incheon, Republic of Korea, from 16 to 18 September. Chaired by Maqbool Mohammed, the session addresses sustainability indicators for bridge management, sustainable approaches to critical highway bridge inspections, the rehabilitation and preservation of two Ohio River cable-stayed bridges, and the use of silane coupling-agent-modified fibers in ultra-high-performance fiber-reinforced concrete. The four presentations provide perspectives on sustainable bridge management across inspection, asset preservation, and material technologies.
