Ace Castillo

Born in the woods close to Bar Harbor, Maine in 2001, Ace was used to quiet life. As a child, he described himself playing by himself in the woods or on the beach. From a young age, he says he was fascinated with animals and nature. "I'd catch little bunnies running out in the forest. Not to hurt them, but to keep them as pets. Never worked out though." He worked hard in school, still keeping a bit to himself and studying hard. It's also around this time he became interested in Cryptids, spending hours researching them and familiarizing himself with them. Wendigos, mothman, werewolves, and even bigfoot, he knew all about them. Following this path, he attended the University of Maine and studied Zoology for his major, with a minor in Biochemistry. His work was for a while at animal shelters, but he soon followed his passion in researching the animals and specifically cryptid hunting. Eventually, while hiking in the woods in Colorado, he heard something nearby. Running to check it out with his camera, he found a small fenced off area with some sort of anomalous entity. He described it as a large bear like creature, but mutated somehow into being a "monstrous killing machine." Soon after he saw armed guards that would recapture the entity. When he was spotted, he was threatened and brought into the site for interrogation. Before he could be Class-A'ed however, he was rescued by a raiding party of the Chaos Insurgency. Seeing his potential, he was shipped off to his current site for training.
