So far, my first year at CCBC has been a learning experience. What helped me most was asking questions, staying on top of my work, and using the support that CCBC offers.
Finishing ACDV 101 gave me the tools I need to succeed as a student at CCBC. I learned how to manage my time better, stay organized, and study more effectively—all skills I didn’t really think about before college. The class helped me understand how I learn best and reminded me that it’s okay to ask for support. It also showed me the importance of setting goals and staying focused on my “why.” Everything I picked up in ACDV 101 will help me stay on track not just at CCBC, but all the way through to dental school.
Advice for new students:
Don’t be afraid to speak up or ask for help.
Stay organized, even if you’re busy.
Take advantage of every resource—because it adds up.
