Course Description
The course focuses on the concepts of corporate governance, including the distinction between the company's management, its owners, and its board of directors. You will learn the responsibilities of each of these parties, and the optimal way to select the board members. The material will also cover the form of interconnected Corporations, the codes of corporate governance, and best practices that companies and companies effort of doing CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility). The course requires a good understanding of the topics. The course includes two midterms, a project, assignment, or case study, and no final exam.
