The Department of Accounting prepares students for careers in a global economy, offering courses from basic to advanced levels in areas like financial accounting, management accounting, and auditing. These are taught by expert faculty using high-quality materials.

Graduates have many career options in both the private and public sectors. They can work in financial or management accounting, or auditing, and often pursue professional certifications like ACCA, CIMA, or CPA. These qualifications, combined with an Accounting Degree, open doors to high-level roles such as CFO, Senior Manager, or CEO. Accountants are among the best-paid professionals, both locally and globally. Many of our graduates hold senior positions in leading organizations in Oman and abroad.
