Course Description
This course focuses on the accountant's role in managing and improving accounting information systems (AIS). Students will learn how to use AIS for both internal and external decision-making, gaining practical experience with software like GNUCash to generate financial statements and MS Excel for building accounting models. The course also covers important topics like internal control systems and documenting AIS. By the end, students will be well-prepared to effectively use technology in accounting to support organizational success.
