Presenter Info

For Talk Presenters

BEFORE THE CONFERENCE

  • There is nothing you need to do before the conference. Please be comfortable with Zoom settings and practice your talk to stay within the allotted time!

DURING THE CONFERENCE

  • Please use the conference Zoom link to login and wait for us to promote you to a panelist.

  • Once you are a panelist, you will be able to share your screen and present your talk.

  • Present your 10 min talk + 5 mins Q&A so that you are done within 15 mins.

For Poster Presenters

BEFORE THE CONFERENCE

  • Please record a 5-minute presentation about your work that we will play live during the poster blitz. This is to streamline setup logistics since there is very little time for each presenter.

  • Please schedule a Zoom session for 5-6pm for the day of your poster presentation and keep the link ready.

  • We will contact you for both these details shortly.

DURING THE CONFERENCE

  • We will play your recorded presentation to the audience during your poster blitz session. The recorded presentation could be either a recorded video or a powerpoint file with audio narration, it is entirely up to you. The purpose of the poster blitz is to interest people in your work so that they can come to your individual poster session for more details. Please prepare your presentation accordingly.

  • After this, we will promote you to a panelist on Zoom, where you will be able to answer any quick questions.

  • After the poster blitz session, please start your individual Zoom session from your own Zoom account. You can keep a more detailed presentation to discuss with the conference attendees who join this session, and get their feedback.

  • We will keep the main conference Zoom session ongoing, in case you want to post your Zoom session details on chat.

For Session Chairs

DURING THE CONFERENCE

  • Please login to the main conference Zoom link. You will be logged in initially as an attendee.

  • Once you login, we will promote you to Co-Host where you will have all the meeting controls.

  • Once you are a Co-Host, you will be able to select and promote any attendee to be a panelist during your session.
