Dr. Janick Edinger is an Assistant Professor of distributed operating systems at the University of Hamburg, Germany. Janick studied at the University of Mannheim, Germany, where he also received his PhD. He also studied at Taiwan National University and the University of Alberta, Canada, and completed research stays at the University of British Columbia, Canada, Hong Kong Polytechnic University, and Georgia State University, Atlanta, USA. Janick has published his work in proceedings of international conferences such as BuildSys, MobiQuitous, PerCom, IPDPS, ICCCN, IUI, COMPSAC, and CHIIR, and received the PerCom 2021 Mark Weiser Best Paper Award. Janick is a shadow PC member for EuroSys 2021 and artifact co-chair for PerCom 2021. He serves as the workshop co-chair in MobiQuitous2021 and has co-organized multiple workshops including PerAwareCity at PerCom. His research interests include computation offloading, edge computing, and assistive technologies.

Dr. Vaskar Raychoudhury is currently working as an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science & Software Engineering, Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, USA. Prior to this, he served as an assistant professor in the Computer Science department of the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Roorkee, India since 2011. His research interests include smart system development using mobile and pervasive computing and networking techniques, Internet of Things (IoT), Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN) and intelligent decision making using large-scale sensor data. He was a visiting assistant professor to the Informatik department, TU Darmstadt in summer 2015 under the DAAD-IIT joint fellowship on bilateral academic exchange. He is a senior member of ACM, a senior member of IEEE and a member of the editorial board of Elsevier Journal of Network and Computer Applications (JNCA). Vaskar is currently working as an Alexander von Humboldt fellow at the University of Mannheim, Germany. He has organized several special sessions and workshops (IEEE AIST 2017, ACM Mobile Health 2017) in various conferences related to Internet of Things (IoT) and Smart City. Vaskar has organized the PerAwareCity workshop during Percom for the past 5 years. He has also proposed and served as the first-ever artifact evaluation co-chair for Percom2020.

Dr. Snehanshu Saha holds a PhD from the Department of Applied Mathematics at the University of Texas at Arlington in 2008. He is an Associate Professor of Computer Science and Anuradha and Prashanth Palakurthi Centre for Artificial Intelligence Research since 2019 and heads the Center for AstroInformatics Modeling and Simulation. Dr. Saha is also the Director of AI Research at HappyMonk Technologies, Bangalore. He has published 90 peer reviewed articles in International journals and conferences. Dr. Saha is an IEEE Senior member, ACM Senior Member, and Former Chair, IEEE Computer Society Bangalore Chapter. Dr. Saha is a Fellow of IETE. Dr. Saha received a distinguished researcher award, PEACE in AstroInformatics and Machine Learning in 2019. Snehanshu’s current and future research interests lie in Data Science, Astronomy and theory of Machine Learning.
