My main interests are combinatorial and geometric group theory. More specifically, I like problems related to the structure, algorithmics and dynamics of endomorphisms for some classes of groups, such as free groups, (semi)direct products of free groups, hyperbolic and automatic groups. I am also interested in the interplay between group theory and formal languages.
I completed my PhD at the University of Porto working under the supervision of Pedro V. Silva and I was a postdoc at Center for Mathematics and Applications (NOVA Math), NOVA University of Lisbon under the supervision of António Malheiro and worked as an assistant reearcher in the Department of Mathematics of the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Porto.
