As a future educator, it will always be my greatest duty to ensure that all my students are able to attain success in my classroom. Understandably, this task will require endless amount of effort and dedication that I am undoubtedly inclined to give. Along this educational journey, I have prepared myself in professionalism and expectations required to become a successful teacher. I plan to always strive to remain committed to my students and work continuously with others to guarantee this is done.
The Professional Disposition Assessment I took offers insight to my understanding of the criteria necessary to adhere to the specifications of my future career as an educator. I do not take any of the features of the assessment lightly. Being that I strongly agree with each statement of the assessment, I can proudly say that I will hold the position of an educator to the highest value.
Looking back at how far this program of study has brought me, I am delighted to see how much I have truly grown. The educational classes, in particular, offered so much insight into my future career in the classroom. My fellow classmates have discussed so much with me. Often times, their views really aided me in seeing others’ perspectives in a different light. My knowledgeable instructors offered so much meaningful information that I will carry with me along the rest of this journey and into my classroom. I understand that with personal experience I will improve in knowledge and understanding of what this profession truly entails.
My professional disposition ensures that my responsibilities will always be aligned with those stated in the Model Code of Ethics. I will always uphold them to protect my students, model professionalism; both in and out of the classroom; and be respectful of the school community. It is my promise to never stop learning and to strive to provide all that is within my power to provide an environment where all students thrive.
