Both conferences will be held at the Downtown Campus of the University at Buffalo. The University at Buffalo provides information on how to travel to Buffalo and the Downtown Campus.
The specific buildings where events will be held are:
Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, 955 Main Street (MSB on the program)
Clinical and Translational Research Center, 875 Ellicott Street, Buffalo, NY 14203 (CTRC on the program)
Both buildings have restricted access, and more specific directions on building access will be provided closer to the start of the conference. The walk between the buildings is about five minutes.
Activities will be divided across the buildings as follows:
Banto3d Day 1, May 20, all day: CTRC
Banto3d Day 2, May 21, morning: CTRC
Banto3d Day 2, May 21, afternoon: MSB
ACAL Day 1, May 21, afternoon: MSB
ACAL Day 2, May 22, all day: MSB
Conference banquet, May 22, evening: CTRC
ACAL Day 3, May 23, all day: MSB
Please note that we will not be holding any conference events at the North or South campuses. We advise attendees to book lodging in downtown Buffalo, which is close to the Downtown Campus, rather than near any of the other campuses.Â
There are many hotels within walking distance of the venue or via a short ride on the Buffalo Metro Rail. The Metro Rail stop for the conference is the Allen Allen/Medical Campus station.
There is no official hotel for ACAL 57 or Banto3d. The University at Buffalo regularly houses guests in two Downtown Hotels: The Wyndham Garden Buffalo Downtown, which is very close to the conference location, and the Hilton Garden Inn Buffalo Downtown. If you have questions about a specific hotel, please feel free to ask the conference organizers.
