HOW TO APPLY

Basic Information

In order to be eligible to apply to the Academy of Small Business Development, students must be assigned to Wakefield as their base school. The Academy has an open and equitable student recruitment process that results in a student body that reflects the demographics of the school community. A lottery is used to determine acceptance into the Academy. The academy is designed as a four-year high school program. Students are expected to commit to the program for the duration of their high school experience. The academy requires specific courses as well as an internship before high school graduation.
