When I created the Academy of Common Sense, I had one goal in mind: celebrate the one skill the world seems to need most these days—practical, everyday common sense.
Let’s face it: life is full of simple decisions that somehow keep getting complicated. Doors that say “PULL” still get pushed, warnings that should be obvious still get ignored, and some people still microwave metal. So I wanted to build something fun—something that reminds us that thinking clearly is not only useful, but worth recognizing.
That’s how the Common Sense Examination was born: a lighthearted test designed to honor those who can navigate the real world with confidence and clarity.
If you pass, you’ll earn a certificate worthy of framing, sharing, or gently showing off to anyone who might need a reminder about who has the real-life smarts around here.
Thank you for joining the Academy and helping promote a quality the world can always use more of.
