Providing meaningful professional learning for Londonderry's teachers is important for their ongoing acquisition of EdTech teaching skills to benefit their students. Just as the students learning with digital tools need time and support from schools and districts, teachers, too need investment in professional learning in the form of a Teachers Academy. Prioritizing professional learning, fostering collaboration in the teaching community, and providing access to shared resources lead to an environment of quality instruction and learning for teachers and students alike. (School Leaders Digital Learning Guide, 2018).
