Buffalo Public Schools will have a Remote Day of Learning on Tuesday, January 27
BUFFALO, N.Y. (January 26, 2026) – Due to inclement weather, Buffalo Public Schools will have a remote day of learning Tuesday, January 27, 2026. All students and staff should stay home. All afterschool activities are canceled.
Students will connect remotely for a day of learning using their school-issued or personal devices through such platforms as Schoology, Clever, and Teams or use the instructional materials previously sent home with students.
On Wednesday, January 28, all Buffalo Public Schools high school students in grades 9 – 12 will have a remote day of learning to allow the district to score the New York State Regents exams. On Wednesday, all students in PreK – 8 should report to school for a regular day of in-person instruction. All staff should report to their worksites.
