Maximize your potential in education by leveraging our tuition reimbursement program, catering not only to teachers but also extending its support to dedicated support staff and those pursuing alternative routes to licensure – a pathway towards continuous growth and professional advancement.
Any employee that meets admission requirements for an Alternative Route to Licensure (ARL) Program approved by the Nevada Dept. of Education is eligible to receive reimbursement of a portion of their program tuition costs in pursuit of their standard teaching license. New hires who were recruited as ARL candidates with a provisional license can also qualify for this Program after they have been employed for 60 days.
Reimbursement will be granted in two payments: $1800 for the initial reimbursement upon approval by the principal and $1800 for the final payment. $1800 for the initial reimbursement upon completion of the ARL program and receipt of a standard teaching license.
Initial reimbursement will be granted if, within ninety (90) days of hire as a teacher with a provisional license, the Teacher submits the following to the principal:
A completed Tuition Reimbursement Request Form.
Official statement from the ARL program reflecting completion of requirements to date.
Proof of current enrollment in the ARL program.

A completed Tuition Reimbursement Request Form.

Receipts showing amounts paid for tuition for the ARL program.
Only those staff members who have obtained prior approval from the site-based principal for ARL Program Reimbursement are eligible.
Only tuition paid to ARL Programs approved by the Nevada Dept. of Education are eligible.
The amount of total ARL sponsorship shall be limited to two payments of $1800 each, up to $2600 total for the ARL Program.
Reimbursements shall be made for tuition only.
Upon completion of the ARL Program, the employee must apply for and receive a standard teaching license through the Nevada Dept. of Education.
Employees receiving reimbursement and earning a standard teaching license agree that they shall continue to be employed by the school for no less than two years following the receipt of final reimbursement.
