What is Centennial College's Academic Integrity Working Group?
Started in fall 2021, the Academic Integrity Working Group brings together individuals working on academic integrity issues from diverse areas of Centennial College to discuss key academic integrity challenges and develop programming to foster a culture of academic integrity at the College.

IDoA Against Contract Cheating and Academic Integrity Week

The International Day of Action (IDoA) Against Contract Cheating is an annual event from the International Center for Academic Integrity (ICAI). This year, the IDoA is Wednesday, October 19, 2022. The theme is: Addressing Contract Cheating and Beyond in the New Learning Environment.

During the week of the IDoA Against Contract Cheating, many post-secondary institutions host additional events to help students and faculty learn more about academic integrity and how it impacts their work.

Academic Integrity

The International Center for Academic Integrity defines academic integrity as "a commitment, even in the face of adversity, to six fundamental values: honesty, trust, fairness, respect, responsibility, and courage." The Fundamental Values of Academic Integrity provides more information on these core values and how to put them into practice.
