Professor Dr. Anton Caragea is the President Director General of The Institute of International Relations and Economic Cooperation of Romania (the official diplomatic gate to the country), President of the World Tourism Institution-European Council on Tourism and Trade and President (pro-tempore) of the Parliamentary Assembly for Sustainable Development Goals.
As President of the European Council on Tourism and Trade, H.E. Professor Dr. Anton Caragea has supported African development by promoting tourism and hospitality investments on the African continent and by launching a special education project in Africa called: THE AFRICAN UNIVERSITY FOR XXI century.
H.E. Professor Dr. Anton Caragea has also been involved in supporting start-up culture development, creating viable economic enterprises and matching Sustainable Development Goals with the necessary investments and smart money initiatives.
He holds the diplomatic rank of Ambassador (since 2016) and has accepted the honorary position of AMBASSADOR FOR WORLD NATURAL PROTECTED AREAS.
His research activities can be observed in a series of journals, publications and associations like: SCI Profiles, Research ID, Ocean Experts , Google Scholars, ORCID, LOOP, Africa Today, Sustainable Development Goals,Smart Money, Invest in Africa etc.
