My budget for donations does gets allocated very quickly, so here are a few ways that can make face painting work within your event budget.

Sponsorship

One option is local business sponsorship. A local business may be happy to cover the cost of the entertainment as part of their community involvement. It’s a great outcome for everyone — your guests enjoy a memorable experience, the sponsor receives genuine community goodwill, and your fundraising budget can stay focused on your cause.

Pay-per-Face Setup 

For school fairs, fetes and community events, a pay-per-face arrangement may also be an option. Your committee or volunteers can collect a set fee from guests who would like their face painted, helping to recover some or all of the entertainment cost throughout the event.
