Why Are You So Far From Saving Me?

Psalm 22:1-5 (NKJV)

Sometimes we cry out to God and feel like He doesn’t hear us. Psalm 22 is a song of lament. A lament is a passionate, honest prayer in pain that turns to God. It represents a prayer of someone who has a deep, intimate relationship with God. As you grow in your knowledge of the Lord, know that when you struggle, you can cry out to Him. In this Psalm, David is asking God where He is. In the midst of his trouble, David did a few things: He sought the Lord, remembered who God was to him, and he trusted God to deliver him. When you are in trouble, seek the Lord. Remember God is with you no matter where you are. And when the Lord delivers you, praise Him!
