A Bear's Story -

A Bear's Story was created by a small team as a Game Development II final project. It is a lighthearted 3D platformer revolving around the player, a teddy bear, and their journey to escape the daycare they were donated to.
Using a sticky-hand toy, the player is able to slingshot themselves around the daycare in a Spiderman-esque fashion. A bear named Mariah Beary promises them they know where a certain key is to escape, though in exchange she wishes to have them collect pieces of a music sheet so that she can hear her favorite lost tune on the xylophone.
I was responsible for level design using Kenney assets and many assets created by teammates. The UI was created by myself to fit the theme of a playful but dark kidcore setting. Although not easily, I also created many of the particle effects throughout the game (Ex: The rays of moonlight in the windows, hit effects, celebration effects).
