I am a dedicated veterinarian, currently pursuing a MSc in Vaccinology (LIVE) at Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1 (France), Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (Spain), University of Barcelona (Spain), University of Antwerp (Belgium) and Université Jean Monnet Saint-Étienne (France) under Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters Program. With a strong academic foundation, I have four years of research experience in animal and public health, antimicrobial resistance (AMR), and One Health initiatives. My work focuses on advancing scientific knowledge and developing evidence-based solutions to address critical challenges in veterinary and public health domains.
I have been deeply involved in global youth leadership, community engagement, and policy advocacy through both national and international organizations such as IAAS and IVSA. As the Founder and Director of the SciSkill (www.sciskill.org), formerly Life Sciences and Research Club (LSRC), I have empowered over 2,000 students both from home and abroad by providing training on research and professional skill development. Additionally, I actively volunteer with organizations like FAO, WHO, UNEA, UNFCCC, and others.
My long-term goal is to work as a researcher and policy strategist, bridging the gap between scientific research and policy implementation. I aspire to develop evidence-based policies that are practically applicable and impactful at the community level, ensuring that scientific insights translate into real-world solutions for public and animal health.
Research & Innovation – Advancing knowledge in AMR, epidemiology, and zoonotic diseases through scientific research.
One Health Approach – Promoting interdisciplinary collaborations to safeguard human, animal, and environmental health.
Policy & Advocacy – Bridging the gap between scientific research and public health policy to influence sustainable solutions through OHA.
Youth Empowerment and Capacity Building – Training and mentoring young researchers and youth advocates in scientific writing, research methodologies, and community engagement.
Outside my academic and research commitments, I am a youth advocate for one health, AMR, public health awareness, and sustainable food systems. I enjoy travelling, hiking, and engaging in community engagements at the root level that promotes One Health and disease prevention strategies.
