Workshop on CRISPR-Cas9
I participated in the Workshop: CRISPR-Cas9 Genome Editing Targeting Rice, held on September 3-4, 2023, at the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, University of Dhaka. Over two days, I gained hands-on experience in designing guide RNAs, and bacterial transformation, transformed bacteria selection and culture, and learned about the basic to advanced techniques of CRISPR-Cas9.

I participated in the program "Next-Generation Genomics for Analyzing Evolutionary Diversity of Emerging Pathogens and Cancers", which was held on May 30, 31, and June 1, 2023, at Jahangirnagar University, jointly organized by the Department of Microbiology and the American Society for Microbiology. During this three-day event, I attended theoretical lectures on topics such as cancer, multi-omics, viral, bacterial, and fungal pathogens, as well as next-generation sequencing (NGS). I also gained knowledge about next-generation sequencing technology, its types, tools, Linux operating system, and NGS data processing and analysis.
