UNDERGRADUATE STUDENT RESEARCH GRANT - KFUPM - KSA

I as Main Principal Investigator, had been awarded with an approved amount of Rs. 556500 PKR (US $2000 OR SAR 7500 equivalent by Deanship for Excellence and Success at King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals, KSA under Undergraduate Student Research Grant fund grant no. U-Xplore 232 to supervise one of the undergraduate students from Control and Instrumentation Department for a project titled as "Reinforcement Learning based Proportional Integral Derivative (RL-PID) Control Law Design to Control Quadrotor UAV using 3D Hand Gestures" 

YUTP FUNDAMENTAL RESEARCH GRANT (YUTP-FRG) 

I worked with my supervisor and got Fundamental Research Grant of Yayasan Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS, Malaysia on one of my objectives of PhD studies. The grant proposal was entitled as “Surveillance of Gas Pipelines Using Underactuated Quadrotor”. The total amount approved for this grant was Rs. 6369758.10 PKR (US $40,000 and RM 1,62000 equivalent).

IEEE HAC & SIGHT Grant for COVID-19 

I had been awarded with the grant of US $1,469.00 for one of my project proposals named as “Designing an IoT based Disinfectant Gate for Analyzing the Ro of the Novel Coronavirus” under the grant/fund number #20-COV-22. 

HEC Research Grant 

I got a chance from my supervisor during my Master of Science in Electronic Engineering from Sir Syed University of Engineering and Technology (SSUET), Karachi Pakistan to work on a paid project that had been awarded by Higher Education Commission to my supervisor from the platform named as Start-up Research Grant Pakistan (SRGP) under the grant number HEC/SRGP/1719. It is to further share that I had completed my MS dissertation on same grant by acquiring scholarship from my supervisor. 

Secured IGNITE National Technology Fund (ICT R&D) by HEC

I had been awarded with the IGNITE National Technology Fund which was formarly known as National ICT R&D Fund by Higher Education Commission (HEC) Education Ministry of Pakistan. This fund was of Rs. 141636.25 PKR ($500 USD equivalent) and had provided a strong support to carry my research for the project titled as "Prototyping and Stabilizing of an Underactuated Remotely Operated Under-water Vehicle". The grant number is NGIRI-2019-559. 

I along with my team of researchers managed to published one journal paper titled as "Single dimension based fuzzy sliding mode control design for the stabilization of underactuated unmanned underwater vehicle" in SCOPUS Indexed Journal titled as "International Journal of Modelling, Identification and Control"

HEC Travel Grant to Present Research Work at University Essex UK

I had been awarded with the travel grant and sponsorship of Rs. 265,410 PKR (US $1647 USD equivalent) by Higher Education Commission HEC to present one of my research papers at IEEE International Conference on Computing, Electronics & Communications Engineering 2018 (iCCECE'18) held at University of Essex, Southend UK
