   Pre-debut, V was the "secret member" of BTS: fans were unaware of his existence as his agency wished to keep him a surprise. He later stated that the concept made him feel lonely and uneasy at the time as he thought it was because he might be cut from the lineup. On June 13, 2013, he made his debut as a member of BTS on Mnet's M Countdown with the track "No More Dream" from the band's debut single album 2 Cool 4 Skool.

Solo activities

  In 2016, V made his acting debut with a supporting role in KBS2's historical drama Hwarang: The Poet Warrior Youth under his real name. He also collaborated with bandmate Jin on the duet single "It's Definitely You" for the show's soundtrack. In celebration of BTS' fourth anniversary, V released "4 O'Clock" on June 8, 2017, a song he co-produced with bandmate RM.

  V released his first independent song, "Scenery", on January 30, 2019, through the BTS SoundCloud page. V wrote and composed the ballad and photographed the cover art himself. The track was produced by Big Hit producer Docskim, with additional contributions from Pdogg and Hiss Noise.

CELINE X TAEHYUNG

 The 27-year-old, real name Kim Tae-hyung, seems to have partnered with CELINE as the label’s newest brand ambassador, joining BLACKPINK’s Lisa and South Korean actor Park Bo-gum. 

  Kim Taehyung or better known by his stage name V which comes from the very famous South Korea boygroup, that's BTS has attended the 'S/S 2023 Menswear Collection' event by CELINE, at Paris Fashion Week, on June 24, 2022, in Paris.

VOGUE X TAEHYUNG

  BTS's V has landed on the October cover of 'Vogue Korea' magazine, the star's first solo cover pictorial for the fashion periodical. 

  Earlier this year, BTS appeared in a special collaborative feature for 'Vogue' and 'GQ' as a group. Now, V has graced the cover of 'Vogue' once again after 10 months with an intimate pictorial shot in New York.

ELLE X TAEHYUNG

  BTS‘s V broke the internet on March 10 when ELLE Korea announced that the BTS member would be the next cover model for their April 2023 issue.

 ELLE Korea finally released the publications’ covers and broke the internet after the announcement.  As expected, V looked absolutely flawless in all the photos, showcasing his sexy and sultry visuals in a minimalistic concept that allowed his handsomeness to shine.
