Aborn Elementary School serves students in Kindergarten through 5th grade. Our Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO) acts as a vital bridge between families, school staff, and the broader school community. Throughout the year, we organize a variety of programs, events, and activities designed to enrich the educational experience and foster a supportive, connected environment for all our students.

PTO Calendar
Hello Families,
This year will be a busy and exciting year of fundraising for the PTO as we work to ensure that Field Day has everything we want it to be for our students. These fundraisers play a key role in supporting school-wide events and activities.
We will be holding our yearly March Calendar Fundraiser during the month of March. Calendars will be sent home with students in February, giving families plenty of time to participate. To complete our calendar, we are still in need of a few additional gift cards. If you have any unused gift cards from the holidays or know of any local restaurants or businesses that would be willing to donate a gift card, your contribution would be greatly appreciated.
In addition, we are preparing for our Tide’s Restaurant Fundraiser and are looking for one parent volunteer from each grade to help organize and collect funds from students in their grade to create raffle baskets. Volunteers will help communicate with families in their grade, collect contributions, and assist in assembling the basket for the event.
Each grade will have a designated basket theme to make planning easy and fun:
· Grade 5 – Self-Care Basket: items such as candles, lotions, face masks, cozy socks, or spa-themed items
· Grade 4 – Game Night Basket: board games, card games, puzzles, snacks, or gift cards for games
· Grade 3 – Art Supply Basket: crayons, markers, colored pencils, sketch pads, craft kits, or paint supplies
· Grade 2 – Movie Night Basket: popcorn, candy, cozy blankets, DVDs, or gift cards
· Grade 1 – Scratch Ticket Basket: lottery scratch tickets
· Kindergarten – Sports Basket: balls, outdoor toys, sports equipment, or Boston sports themed items
These baskets are always a highlight of the fundraiser and play a big role in its success. Your time, donations, and support truly make a difference for our students.

We show appreciation for our teachers and staff, host fun and family-friendly events, and organize fundraisers that support our school’s needs. We also provide opportunities for parents and caregivers to volunteer, connect, and get involved in meaningful ways.
