The Palawan State University (PSU) began as Palawan Teacher’s College in 1965, later becoming Palawan State College in 1984. It attained university status in 1994. Today, PSU is a premier institute in Palawan, with over 26,000 students and nearly 1000 faculty and staff. It has 19 campuses across the province, with the main campus in Tiniguiban, Puerto Princesa City, spanning 68 hectares. PSU offers a wide range of undergraduate and graduate programs through its eight colleges, fulfilling its mission in instruction, research, extension, and production.
