Due to various Codes, Laws, and Policies, Cremation of individuals in nearly all U.S. jurisdictions will not allow Mjolnir (Hammer) pendants to be worn by deceased into the fire. This unfortunate restriction has a workaround by substituting metal with wood (which is a historically attested custom as being worn among Heathens, living and dead, throughout the centuries). The pendants that the HEIF Private Charitable Trust has distributed for Traditional Heathen Funerary Services & Cremation are made from Poplar, with minimal use of Wood Glue, and a very fine coating of Gold Acrylic Pigment to comply with Crematorium limitations.
