Abinash Singh
I am an Assistant Professor of Economics at the Department of Economics, Faculty of Business studies, Siksha 'O' Anusandhan University, Bhubaneswar.
I worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher Fellow in the Economics & Social Sciences area at the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore. Currently, I am working on water utility development and water economics of public drinking water supply programs (Jal Jeevan Mission). My research interest focuses on Health economics, Public policy, Water economics, and the evaluation of development programs.
As part of my Ph.D., at Dept. of Economics and Finance at BITS Pilani K.K. Birla Goa Campus. I investigated the population-level impact of the public health program - National Health Mission, its outreach, the disparity in the utilization of health services among lower socioeconomic groups, and the long-term impact on maternal and child health outcomes.
