I am Dr. Abin Philip, an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics, SR University, Warangal. I received my Ph.D. in Physics from Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), India, where my research focused on electrochemical energy storage and manganese oxide-based supercapacitors.
I subsequently worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Centre of Excellence in Materials for Advanced Technology (CeMAT), SRM Institute of Science and Technology, where my research focused on electrocatalytic oxygen evolution reaction (OER), transition-metal oxyhydroxides, and strategies to improve the activity and stability of electrocatalytic materials.
My research interests broadly encompass electrochemical energy storage, supercapacitors, electrocatalysis, nanomaterials, transition-metal oxides/oxyhydroxides, and advanced electrode materials for sustainable energy applications.
I am interested in developing functional nanomaterials and understanding their structure–property relationships to address challenges in energy storage and conversion technologies.
