Abigail Watkins

I am a fifth year PhD student at Indiana University in Bloomington advised by Julia Plavnik. Previously, I was mentored by Dave Rose at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I am currently on the academic job market.

I am interested in quantum algebra and tensor categories. In particular, I have recently spent my time thinking about constructions of tensor categories and the classification of modular tensor categories.
