Hi everyone! My name is Abigail Temple-Johnson. Art Class was actually my least favorite class in high school - but it was where I met my husband!
I began my art journey in the summer of 2022 with a simple watercolor palette and sketchbook. As my interest grew, I upgraded my supplies and took a few classes to improve my techniques. Since then, I have expanded into other media like pressed flowers, air-dry clay, embroidery, and more!
Whether you're here to browse, purchase, or commission a piece, I'm so glad you've stopped by!
Watercolor
Watercolor is where I began my creative journey in 2022! My husband bought me a mini 4x4-inch sketchbook and a Crayola watercolor palette - and the rest was history.
While I'm still developing my ever-evolving style, I am passionate about creating loose, illustrative designs that bring joy and color to everyday spaces.
Pressed Flowers
I began pressing flowers in the spring and summer of 2024. I originally purchased a flower press with the intent of preserving my wedding bouquet in June 2024 - though (spoiler!) I ended up asking my sister-in-law to preserve it in silica instead.
Since then, I have learned a lot about what flowers press best and the different methods involved. My dad has built me two additional flower presses to help grow my collection!
Mixed Media
In the winter months of 2024, I began experimenting with different art forms beyond watercolor. I've embroidered paper, worked with alcohol-based markers, sculpted with air-dry clay, and more!
Some of my more polished pieces are showcased here.
