For this assignment, I wanted to create a fantasy world that a small child might imagine themself in. In order to portray this idea I incorporated the phone screen in the bottom to show the "real world", whereas the dancer in space is how the child is seeing everything. I used selection tools and masks in Photoshop in order to create this idea.
This assignment was to create a series of three (unrelated) collages of images using Adobe Photoshop using non-destructive editing techniques. With the help of masks and selection tools, I was able to create these three pieces.
This assignment was to create an artwork entirely comprised of text. Through the use of tools such as type on a path and envelope distort, I was able to create this piece of Snoopy and Woodstock hugging. I also used the script from the Peanuts movie to create a background.
For these pieces, I decided that I wanted to be able to recreate famous artworks digitally. The three pieces that I chose were Starry Night, The Scream, and The Girl With a Pearl Earring. I began by taking the photos I needed and importing them into photoshop so that I could edit them to better suit the painting. I then placed them in illustrator so that I could recreate the backgrounds and additional parts of the painting.
This pixilation piece was created using a series of photos with slight movement between each shot. By doing this we were able to create a short film that had effects that are not possible in traditional film. We used cameras and tripods in order to maintain a stable perspective.
For this assignment, I imported my photo into photoshop in order to simplify the colors and then took that image into illustrator to recreate. I used tools such as the pen tool, the eyedropper tool, and pathfinder to create this project.
For this project, I took multiple different photos and used selection tools in photoshop to place them together into one cohesive image.
For this assignment, I used many different text tools to manipulate and change the letters in a word. I used tools such as the knife tool, area type tool, and some of the modify tools.
For this sky I used the pathfinder tool a lot in order to help me form the shapes. Additionally, I used the gradient tool and the eyedropper to get the colors to blend together.
For this assignment, I used a camera and tripod to take many consecutive photos to show movement. I then uploaded the photos as individual layers into photoshop and used the timeline tool to create a gif.
