Founder & Instructor, AbiCode Lab
Hi, I’m Abimbola (you can call me Abi)! I’m a software developer, data analyst, and the proud founder of AbiCode Lab—a safe and engaging space where kids and teens learn to code through hands-on projects, creativity, and play.
With over 10 years of experience in tech, I’ve worked across industries—from healthcare to logistics—helping organizations design data solutions, build web-based tools, and deliver smarter, faster decision-making through code.
I hold two master’s degrees—one in Information & Communication Science and another in Computer Science. I’ve taught both kids and adults as an adjunct professor at Ivy Tech and a graduate assistant at Ball State University.
My developer toolkit includes:
Languages & Tools: Python, SQL, R, JavaScript, Power BI, Tableau, HTML, CSS, JavaScript
Databases: Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, SAP HANA
Cloud & DevOps: AWS, Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform
Web Development: Responsive design, front-end frameworks, and database-driven applications
Soft Skills: Teaching, mentoring, communication, problem-solving, and solution design
At AbiCode Lab, I bring all of that experience into fun, beginner-friendly coding classes designed to build not just tech skills, but confidence, teamwork, and curiosity. Whether we’re building games in Scratch or apps with Python, Java, JavaScript, your child will feel encouraged, seen, and celebrated every step of the way.
