Aditya Birla Higher Secondary School, Veraval is one of the most reputed and oldest co-educational English Medium School situated in a lush green sprawling campus of 7 acres in the heart of Veraval town. This school, affiliated to the Gujarat Board offers both Science and Commerce streams at Plus Two Level. It has 2997 students in its roll at present and offers quality education to the children of Veraval and the surrounding areas. With a strong urge towards social commitment, the Indrayon English Medium School was set up in 1963 by the Indrayon Education Society promoted by the Indian Rayon, a unit of Aditya Birla Nuvo Ltd. Since then the School is imparting holistic education to community in and around Veraval and has emerged a pioneer in providing quality education in the Saurashtra region.

The school runs in two shifts and has separate pre-primary, primary, secondary and higher secondary wings. In 1972 the Arts and Commerce Streams were started and in 1985 the Science Stream was started to cater to the needs of the local community. Over the years the school has scaled many new heights with the committed support of the Management and co-operation of the parents. In 2007- 08, the name of the school was rechristened from Indrayon English Medium School to Aditya Birla Higher Secondary School.
