About Abhishek Chaudhari
Abhishek Devidas Chaudhari is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering at Gokhale Education Society's R. H. Sapat College of Engineering, Management Studies and Research (GES’s RHSCOEM&R), Nashik, India. He defended his Ph.D. thesis in Structural Engineering in July 2025 at the Civil Engineering Department of Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology (SVNIT), Surat, an Institute of National Importance under the Ministry of Education, Government of India. He has a strong record of journal and conference publications in the field of Civil and Structural Engineering. With over ten years of combined experience in academia and industry, he has developed a strong foundation in structural engineering education and practice. He was registered as a Chartered Engineer in December 2020.
Prior to joining SVNIT, he served in the Department of Civil Engineering at K. K. Wagh Institute of Engineering Education and Research (KKWIEER), Nashik. He also worked as a Lecturer from February 2015 to April 2016 at GES’s RHSCOEM&R, Nashik. Before joining GES’s RHSCOEM&R, he was employed as a Technical Engineer at Akshay Engineers from June 2014 to June 2015.
He earned his Master’s degree in Structural Engineering from Late G. N. Sapkal College of Engineering, Nashik, in 2017, and completed his undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering in 2014 from GES’s RHSCOEM&R, Nashik.
Mr. Chaudhari actively contributes to the academic and research community as a reviewer and editorial board member for various peer-reviewed journals in Civil and Structural Engineering. He also served as an Editorial Team Member and Session Chair at the National Conference hosted by GES’s RHSCOEM&R in April 2025.
In addition, he holds active memberships in several professional organizations, including the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), the Institution of Engineers (India), and the Indian Institute of Bridge Engineers (IIBE), among others, both nationally and internationally.
