Librarian Day Celebration on the occasion of Birth Anniversary of Dr. S. R. Ranganathan (Father of Library Science.) Date:12/08/2021. Venue: Abhinav College Library. Prin. Alwin Menezes delivered a speech on the importance of Library on the occasion on Librarian day.

Celebration of Reading Inspiration Day on 18 October 2021
"Give one hour a day exclusively for book reading and you will become a Knowledge Centre in a few years" stated by Dr. A.P. J Abdul Kalam.
Reading Inspiration Day was celebrated virtually on 18 October, 2021, on the occasion of Birth Anniversary (15th October) of our former President Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam. with aim of intensify the culture of reading. The event was organized by Dr. A.P. J Abdul Kalam Readers Forum, Dept of Library and Dept of Language and Literature. The program was hosted by librarian, Mr. Milind Bhongle and Prof. Uttam Bhagat. The exhibition of virtual books was inaugurated by Principal Alwin Menezes sir by reading the 1st para of a book on Dr. A.P. J Abdul Kalam. The principal appreciated the library department for making books available virtually for the students.

Department of Library was organized one-week book exhibition from 12th to 22nd April 2022 on the theme of Dr. Ambedkar’s thoughts and Literature on the occasion of 131st Birth Anniversary of Bharatratna Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar. Exhibition was open to all staffs and students of the college.
The objective of said exhibition was to make the students and faculty members aware of the available Ambedkarite literature in the college library.

Department of Library was organized one-week book exhibition from 27th and 28nd Jan 2023 on the theme of Marathi Poetry and Marathi Dramas on the occasion of Marathi Bhasha Sanvardhan Pandharwada. Exhibition was open to all staffs and students of the college.
The objective of said exhibition was to make the students and faculty members aware of the available books of Marathi poetry and Marathi dramas in the college library.

On an auspicious occasion of the Birth Anniversary of the Father of Library and Information Science Dr. S. R. Ranganathan 9th August, Celebrated on Thursday 10th August 2023. The department of Library conducted poetry recitation on the topic of 'Paus aani Kavita'. the guest of the programme, Mr. Arvind Patil presented his own poem. Students and teachers were presented their poems.
