I am a PhD student and PMRF fellow in the Department of Materials Engineering at the Indian Institute of Science.
My doctoral research investigates the plasticity and localised deformation behaviour of hydride-containing Zr−2.5%Nb alloy using micromechanical testing. This work aims to enhance the lifetime and safety of critical components in power plants. I also have experience working in other fields, such as additive manufacturing of high entropy alloys and machine learning based material property prediction.
As a professional/researcher/engineer in the materials engineering domain, I also endeavour to seek out and address key challenges in the industrial landscape along the way
Alongside this, I often indulge in my other interests such as reading, meditating, and occasionally hiking :)
