B.Sc. (Library Science)

Bachelor in Library and Information Science (B.Lib.I.Sc.) is a one-year undergraduate course that teaches candidates about library management and administration. The course is generally divided into two semesters. Bachelor in Library and Information Science (B.Lib.I.Sc.) mainly deals with the preservation and maintenance of libraries. 

Bachelor of Library and Information Science [B.Lib.I.Sc] Eligibility

• The candidate must complete his graduation in any discipline from a recognized university.

• The main job of a librarian is to organize and issue books in the library. He/ She is also responsible for issuing other library materials like audio files, movies, etc.

• Library Manager

• A library manager is mainly responsible for taking care of all the operations that take place in a library.

• Library Consultant

• A library consultant performs various activities related to setting up of a new library. He also assists in the improvement of existing libraries..

• Law Librarian

• A law librarian is responsible for taking care of law-related libraries. They mostly work in law courts and legal firms.

• Assistant Professor

• An assistant professor provides knowledge to the students in subjects related to Library and Information Science.
