Awards and Achievements

• Selected as a Bursary Awardee for the 17th World Conference on Transport Research–WCTR 2026, Toulouse, France.

• Awarded with 150,000 INR as International Conference Travel Support from DDF grant, Civil Engineering Department, IIT Roorkee.

• Selected for a short-term research visit at the Lyles School of Civil and Construction Engineering, Purdue University, Indiana, USA.

• Contributed as a Reviewer to many journals, e.g., Transportation Research Part F: Traffic Psychology and Behaviour (Elsevier), Journal of Transportation Engineering, Part A: Systems (ASCE), Discover Applied Sciences (Springer Nature), Discover Cities (Springer Nature), International Journal of Injury Control and Safety Promotion (Elsevier).

• Selected as Prime Minister Research Fellow (PMRF) by Ministry of Education, Govt. of India, in Cycle 10, 2023.

• Awarded with 600,000 INR as contingency fund as a part of Prime Minister Research Fellowship.

• Successfully secured “Grade 1: Recommended with Commendation” in two consecutive PMRF Annual Reviews.

• Participated in ‘Road Safety Ideathon-2024’, secured runner-up position, and also presented a technical session on “An AI-ML approach towards accident prediction and prevention” organized by NSS IIT Roorkee (India) for 35th National Road Safety Week, 2024.

• Participated in a five-day international virtual workshop on Modern Trends in Transportation System (MTTS-2020), NIT Silchar, India – July 2020.

• Participated in a short-term course on Advances in Transportation Engineering organized by department of Civil Engineering, NIT Rourkela, India – September 2020.

• Qualified GATE-2019 in Civil Engineering with 96 percentile score.

• Received MHRD Scholarship for both Masters and Doctoral studies. 

Extra-curricular activities

• Sports Secretary of Cautley Bhawan, IIT Roorkee (2021-2023).

• Represented State and District level in under-16 and under-19 cricket league.

• Diploma in Bharat Natyam and Rabindra Nritya.

• Diploma in Painting.
