Abhijith joined the lab as CSIR JRF in 2019 after completing M.Sc. in Zoology from Sacred Heart College, Cochin and B.Sc. in Zoology from D.B. Pampa College, Parumala. He started working on molecular taxonomy and evolutionary history of wolf spiders in Kerala. Wolf spiders, as the name indicates are hunters which have immense role in ecosystem.
