About
Abhay Sobhanan is a PhD student in the Department of Industrial and Management Systems at University of South Florida. His current research focuses on transportation network optimization using exact, heuristic and reinforcement learning approaches.
Prior to joining USF, he worked as a Research Associate at the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad, India. He also loves to read about research works in the areas of Deep Learning, Queueing Theory, Discrete Mathematics and Operations Research.
Abhay graduated with a BS-MS dual degree in Mathematics from National Institute of Technology Agartala, India in 2019. His master's thesis was on the topic of Type-2 Fuzzy Multi-Criteria Decision Making.
