Guide to the Abhidharmakośa

This is a study guide I made for myself to the Abhidharmakośakārikā, Vasubandhu's influential verse summary of the northern Buddhist Abhidharma (Buddhist scholastic philosophy). This guide explains the verses in a shorter and simpler way than Vasubandhu's commentary and includes passages from key sutras and from other Abhidharma texts to further illustrate the main points. It could even be considered a kind of simple commentary to the verses. This guide also contains my own translations of the verses (karikas), which is based on previous translations (Prouden and Lodro Sangpo). While Prouden and Lodro Sangpo's translations of the verses are good, I preferred to re-work them to make them easier to read (for myself).

Currently I only have the first two chapters completed.
