There will be a keynote speech about Japan geology, then participants will be divided into groups to start working on identifying possible locations an an analog site.

Participants will work in group to produce the following outcomes:

• Identify a possible/s sites in Japan that are relevant for space exploration and astrobiology;

• Explain the type of research to be conducted at the site/s and the expected outcome;

• Producing a review paper on the work done. This will later be submitted to a peer review journal.
